This creative coding piece was done using OpenFrameworks, as an exploration on the expressive possibilities of virtual spaces. The final result is this 35 seconds video.
The contrast between naked wireframe meshes and fully rendered ones intended to play on the structural (in the architectural sense) nature of 3D objects. It’s an exploration on the inside and the outside, a play on caverns and interiors. It is intended as a small ambient piece of worldbuilding, a starting point for imagining virtual worlds.
It is purposefully short, it doesn’t need to clarify, it is a piece and a world that stand on their own. With the video as a starting point, I developed a set of images to explore the graphic qualities of the world. Their intent is to expand upon the world developed in the video.
